What watch case size fits my wrist?

Short answer: measure your wrist, then pick a case whose width sits inside the top of your wrist without the ends hanging over the edges. The quickest way to check is our wrist fit tool, which shows any case size at real size on your screen.

How to measure your wrist

Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper you then hold against a ruler, around your wrist just above the wrist bone, where the watch sits. Note the number in centimetres. Our printable wrist size guide does the same job on paper.

Case size and band size are two different things

The case diameter, given in millimetres on every product page, decides how big the watch looks. The band length decides whether it closes around your wrist. Our wrist fit page lets you check both: set your wrist size once and every product page remembers it and tells you if the band fits. Steel bracelets can be shortened by removing links; links cannot be added.

Real examples from the shop

A slim case like the Lacoste Crocodelle (30 mm) sits small and light. The Lacoste Boston (42 mm) and Lacoste Capbreton (43 mm) cover more of the wrist and read as bold men's watches. Rectangular cases like the Lacoste Catherine are measured on both sides (28.3 x 20.7 mm) and look smaller than a round case of the same width.
